Founded in March 2014, Viking CPA Group is a company that provides accounting services to individuals and small businesses. We say we are the CPA Firm with personality because we thrive on relationship building, educating our clients, and being their trust advisor and addition to their team.
We work closely with our clients to learn about their individual or organizational needs to create a customized approach and service package. It is our goal to contribute value-added services and relieve you of the tediousness and stress of performing and understanding the ever changing accounting rules and regulations. Meet the Team
Pam Balentine, CPA, Owner
Flint, Michigan native, Pam Balentine, has over sixteen years of accounting experience, working with public universities and Fortune 500 companies. Pam obtained her Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Science both in Accounting from Michigan State University and obtained her Certified Public License in the state of Michigan. During her college tenure, Pam performed accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll functions for a small business within the university.
After graduation, Pam became an auditor for one of the Big Four accounting firms working in a variety of industries including, banking, capital management, and automotive. Pam has also worked for a Fortune 500 automotive manufacturing and chemical companies where her duties included internal audit and plant controller. She has also worked as a part-time professor where she mirrored her passion for accounting with giving while teaching the future accountants of the world.
With her extensive corporate knowledge, Pam knows what it takes for a business to be effective and efficient in its financial and operational processes.
